NEWS Release - New money market statistical reporting to strengthen Eurosystem’s analytical capacity

Since July 2016, the Eurosystem’s central banks have been providing information on euro area financial institutions’ money market operations on a daily basis. These data are fed into the Eurosystem’s new MMSR dataset, which make it possible to assess the current market situation and structural developments over time. In the current issue of its Monthly Report, the Bundesbank, which is the collection point for data submitted by institutions domiciled in Germany, has unveiled the initial MMSR results for Germany. 

Ελληνική Οικονομία - Ετήσια μείωση 0,3% για το Λιανικό Εμπόριο - Στα καταστήματα Τροφίμων η μεγαλύτερη πτώση ..

Ο Γενικός Δείκτης Κύκλου Εργασιών στο Λιανικό Εμπόριο, σε ετήσια βάση παρουσίασε μείωση 0,3% , με τον κλάδο να εξακολουθεί να παρουσιάζει μία φθίνουσα πορεία.   Την μεγαλύτερη πτώση παρουσίασαν τα Μεγάλα Καταστήματα Τροφίμων κατά  - 1,9% , με τα μικρότερα  καταστήματα Τροφίμων - ποτών και καπνού να ακολουθούν σε ποσοστό  - 1,5% . Στον αντίποδα Ισχυρή άνοδο  + 5,5% παρουσίασαν τα καταστήματα πώλησης Βιβλίων - Χαρτικών, με τα καταστήματα Καυσίμων - Λιπαντικών αυτοκινήτων να ενισχύονται κατά + 3,5% ..

Περίληψη

Τον Οκτώβριο 2017 το οικονομικό κλίμα παρουσίασε βελτίωση με τον Δείκτη Οικονομικής Συγκυρίας (ΔΟΣ) να αυξάνεται κατά 4,5 μονάδες σε σύγκριση με τον Σεπτέμβριο 2017. Η αύξηση οφείλεται στην ενίσχυση του επιχειρηματικού κλίματος στις υπηρεσίες και, σε μικρότερο βαθμό, στην καλυτέρευση του κλίματος στο λιανικό εμπόριο και στη μεταποίηση.

Europe and Central Asia Region Sees Stronger Growth, Amidst Rise in Migration

Warsaw, October 19, 2017 – Economic growth for the Europe and Central Asia region will reach 2.2% in 2017, according to the World Bank’s latest Regional Economic Update, Migration and Mobility in Europe and Central Asia. This represents the strongest growth in the region since 2011, and is 0.3 percentage points above the Bank’s previous forecast in May 2017.
