The euro area (EA19) seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate was 9.6% in January 2017, stable compared to December 2016 and down from 10.4% in January 2016. This remains the lowest rate recorded in the euro area since May 2009.

Ever since the Brexit referendum EU citizens in the UK and UK nationals living in other EU countries face uncertainty about their ability to stay where they are. The British government has so far refused to guarantee the rights of EU nationals. Following reports of administrative barriers, MEPs are increasingly concerned that EU citizens’ right to stay in the UK are not being fully respected. They held a debate on the issue on 1 March and will also organise hearings to gather evidence.

Καλημέρα σε όλους ... Μάλλον πως για άλλη μία φορά < βαλτώσαμε >, μάλλον πως για άλλη μία φορά και το ορόσημο της 20η Μαρτίου φαντάζει ουτοπία .. Το σίγουρο πάντως είναι πως η Ευρώπη μπορεί και χωρίς εμάς, και αυτό  επισημαίνεται στα καλά νέα για τον πληθωρισμό ο οποίος άγγιζει το ορόσημο του 2% .. Υπό αυτές τις συνθήκες  οι Ελληνικοί Τραπεζικοί τίτλοι, στην Αμερικανική αγορά OTCMKTS... όπου διαπραγματεύονται, χθες βράδυ  κατέγραφαν  ισχυρές απώλειες ...  οι οποίες ναι μεν συμμαζεύτηκαν λίγο πριν το κλείσιμο, αλλά η αρνητική ψυχολογία παρέμεινε ...

Το ADR της Εθνικής Τράπεζας ...  ο πλέον εμπορεύσιμος τίτλος, για άλλη μια φορά απέτυχε να κινηθεί πάνω από την τοπική κορυφή των 0,27$ σημειώνοντας χαμηλότερο υψηλό στα 0,26$ με φθίνουσα γεωμετρική πρόοδο, με τις τιμές κατά την χθεσινή συνεδρίαση να σημειώνουν υψηλό στα 0,257$ και χαμηλό στα 0,251$ δοκιμάζοντας τις αντοχές της ισχυρή στήριξη της ΕΜΑ 50...
