Με βάση τα στοιχεία που έχουν συγκεντρωθεί από τα πιστωτικά ιδρύματα,(1) εκτιμάται ότι το α΄ τρίμηνο του 2017 οι τιμές των διαμερισμάτων (σε ονομαστικούς όρους) ήταν κατά μέσο όρο μειωμένες κατά 1,8% σε σύγκριση με το αντίστοιχο τρίμηνο του 2016.

Staff Review of the Economic Situation 

The information reviewed for the May 2–3 meeting indicated that the labor market strengthened further in March but that growth of real gross domestic product (GDP) slowed in the first quarter, with the slowing likely reflecting transitory factors. The 12-month change in overall consumer prices was close to the Committee’s longer-run objective of 2 percent in recent months; excluding food and energy, consumer prices declined in March, and the 12-month change in core consumer prices remained somewhat below 2 percent. Surveybased measures of inflation expectations were little changed on balance.

Σύμφωνα με τα στοιχεία εκτέλεσης του κρατικού προϋπολογισμού, σε τροποποιημένη ταμειακή βάση, για την περίοδο Ιανουαρίου - Απριλίου 2017, παρουσιάζεται έλλειμμα στο ισοζύγιο του κρατικού προϋπολογισμού ύψους 1.142 εκατ. ευρώ έναντι ελλείμματος 973 εκατ. ευρώ το αντίστοιχο διάστημα του 2016 και στόχου του Προϋπολογισμού 2017 (που έχει περιληφθεί στην εισηγητική έκθεση του Προϋπολογισμού) για έλλειμμα 2.042 εκατ. ευρώ.
