The Harvard-Fletcher European Conference is testament to the bonds between our two continents. These bonds go deep in our culture and history, and extend far ahead into our future.

Remarks by President Donald Tusk after the European Council meeting on 19 February 2016

Good evening, we have just achieved a deal which strengthens Britain's special status in the European Union. It is a legally binding and irreversible decision by all 28 leaders. The settlement addresses all of Prime Minister Cameron's concerns without compromising our fundamental values.

During our long and often heated discussions, we haggled over the smallest details of the deal. Perhaps it was not an aesthetic spectacle, and far from glamorous. What matters, however, is that the European leaders did not walk away from the negotiating table, as something much more important was at stake.

Λίγο πριν το άνοιγμα των χρηματαγορών στην wall street τα futures του κυριότερου χρηματιστηριακού δείκτη Dow Jones Industrial Average  E-Mini Dow καταγράφουν απώλειες της τάξης του 0,54% στις 16,302μ...προ διαθέτοντας για αρνητικό ξεκίνημα..

Ο Αμερικανικός δείκτης κατά την χθεσινή συνεδρίαση κινήθηκε σταθεροποιητικά δια κρατώντας το επίπεδο της στήριξης της ΕΜΑ 21  κλείνοντας οριακά κάτω από την μέχρι πρότινος ισχυρή του στήριξη στις 16,585μ... .. η οποία πλέον έχει μετατραπεί σε ισχυρή αντίσταση...

Με απώλειες ο Ευρωπαϊκός τραπεζικός κλάδος... μετά από μία εβδομάδα έντονων διακυμάνσεων..STOXX® Europe 600 Banks

Μετά από ένα σταθεροποιητικό άνοιγμα και εναλλαγές προσήμου ... σε διορθωτική κίνηση κίνηση αυτή την ώρα οι δείκτες των Ευρωπαϊκών χρηματαγορών ..... ο STOXX® Europe 600 Banks ακολουθώντας την γενικότερη τάση ...για δεύτερη ημέρα ..... καταγράφει επιταχυνόμενες απώλειες  της τάξης του 1,73% στις 140,64μ... προερχόμενος από ισχυρά εβδομαδιαία κέρδη...

STOXX® Europe 600 Banks

Ο STOXX® Europe 600 Banks...κατά την χθεσινή συνεδρίαση απέτυχε να διασπάσει ανοδικά την ΕΜΑ 21 ...στις 146,66μ... κλείνοντας στο επίπεδο της  στήριξη της ΕΜΑ 9 στις 142,48μ...ενώ σήμερα ...αν και κινήθηκε στην αρχή της συνεδρίασης ανοδικά ...κατά την αρνητική του επαναφορά....δεν κατάφερε να κρατήσει το επίπεδο της ΕΜΑ 9....  με αποτέλεσμα την επιτάχυνση των απωλειών....

Achieving strong growth in the global economy remains elusive, with only a modest recovery in advanced economies and slower activity in emerging markets, according to the OECD’s latest 

Interim Economic Outlook.

The world economy is likely to expand no faster in 2016 than in 2015, its slowest pace in five years. Trade and investment are weak. Sluggish demand is leading to low inflation and inadequate wage and employment growth.

The downgrade in the global outlook since the previous Economic Outlook in November 2015 is broadly based, spread across both advanced and major emerging economies, with the largest impacts expected in the United States, the euro area and economies reliant on commodity exports, like Brazil and Canada.

Με οριακές απώλειες ολοκλήρωσαν χθες βράδυ την συνεδρίαση οι Αμερικανικοί δείκτες, με τους επενδυτές να προχωρούν σε αποκόμιση κερδών .... καθώς μετά από πολύ καιρό η εβδομάδα κυλάει με κέρδη.. σε αναμονή κατεύθυνσης  μιας και η αγορά βρίσκεται οριακά κάτω από την μεσοπρόθεσμη αντίσταση των 16,580μ...

Dow Jones Industrial Average στις 16,413μ.... με απώλειες 0,25%

Ο Αμερικανικός δείκτης κινείται πάνω από την στήριξη   της ΕΜΑ 21...  στις 16,230μ... ευρισκόμενος  στα όρια της ισχυρής αντίστασης των 16,580μ... έχοντας ήδη στο ενεργητικό του 2 αποτυχημένες προσπάθειες υπέρβασης.... βλ. post..
