The last European Council was as difficult as any of my term. And even though we found a common solution, the real test of time is ahead of us, of course because of the referendum in the United Kingdom on whether or not to remain a member of the European Union. Only the British people can and will decide that. What we could do on our side was to agree a new settlement for Britain within the EU. And we did.

The 28 heads of state or government unanimously agreed and adopted a legally binding and irreversible settlement for the United Kingdom in the EU. The decision concerning a new settlement is in conformity with the Treaties and cannot be annulled by the European Court of Justice. But it will only enter into force if the British people vote to stay. If they vote to leave, the settlement will cease to exist.

Λίγο πριν το άνοιγμα των χρηματαγορών στην wall street τα futures του κυριότερου χρηματιστηριακού δείκτη Dow Jones Industrial Average E-Mini Dow καταγράφουν απώλειες της τάξης του 0,84% στις 16,259μ...προ διαθέτοντας για αρνητικό ξεκίνημα..

Τα  futures κινούνται κάτω από τα  όρια της στήριξης της ΕΜΑ 21 στις 16,286μ... με την επόμενη στήριξη να εντοπίζεται στις 16,210μ... και με τον δείκτη fast stochastic να έχει <κρεμάσει> σε ψηλή ζώνη τιμών..

Συνέχεια απώλειων για τον Ευρωπαικό τραπεζικό κλάδο... σε δοκιμασία η στήριξη του...STOXX® Europe 600 Banks

Μετά από ένα σταθεροποιητικό άνοιγμα και εναλλαγές προσήμου ... κρέμασαν πτωτικά οι δείκτες των Ευρωπαϊκών χρηματαγορών ..... ο STOXX® Europe 600 Banks ακολουθώντας την γενικότερη τάση ...για δεύτερη ημέρα ..... καταγράφει επιταχυνόμενες απώλειες της τάξης του 2,42% στις 138,50μ... 

Ο STOXX® Europe 600 Banks...κατά την χθεσινή συνεδρίαση για δεύτερη συνεχόμενη φορά απέτυχε να διασπάσει ανοδικά την ΕΜΑ 21 ...στις 145,60μ... κλείνοντας οριακά στο επίπεδο της στήριξη της ΕΜΑ 9 στις 142,05μ...ενώ σήμερα ...αν και κινήθηκε στην αρχή της συνεδρίασης σταθεροποιητικά ...κατά την αρνητική του επαναφορά....

Με απώλειες  ολοκλήρωσαν χθες βράδυ την συνεδρίαση οι Αμερικανικοί δείκτες,ύστερα από μία έκθεση η οποία ανέφερε ότι  τα hedge funds έχουν μειώσει τις επενδύσεις ιδίων κεφαλαίων τους στις μετοχές ενέργειας του S&P 500 σε σχεδόν τεσσάρων ετών χαμηλό  σε ποσοστό  45% στις αρχές του 2016 από 57%  που ήταν το το 2015... καθώς επίσης και από αναφορές από την Σ. Αραβία οι οποίες ανέφεραν ότι ο περιορισμός της παραγωγής πετρελαίου... ναι μεν θα μειώσει την προσφορά , αυξάνοντας την τιμή ... αλλά για να γίνει αυτό θα χρειαστεί πολύς χρόνος

Dow Jones Industrial Average στις 16,431μ.... με απώλειες 1,14%

Ο Αμερικανικός δείκτης  δεν κατάφερε να διατηρηθεί πάνω από την αντίσταση των 16,580μ...για δεύτερη συνεχόμενη συνεδρίαση..

Sustaining Growth in Europe: European Union Regular Economic Report
February 23, 2016

According to the latest European Union Regular Economic Report (EU RER), the recovery in the European Union gained strength in 2015. Yet, growth - estimated at 2% in 2015 - remains relatively weak in relation to the past and compared to countries in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

Central Europe is experiencing the highest growth, driven by the Czech Republic,Poland, and Romania, while Southern Europe’s growth rates, at 1.4% in 2015, are likely to be the slowest, although still a significant improvement from the less than 0.5% growth seen there in 2014. This improvement in growth has been supported by a surprisingly rapid recovery in labor markets.
