Press Release -  IMF Executive Board Adopts Decisions to Strengthen the Financial Stability in Countries with Islamic Banking




On February 3, 2017, the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) held its first formal discussion on Islamic banking (IB), and adopted a set of proposals on the role that the Fund should play in this area. These proposals, and the case for adopting them, are contained in the staff paper “Ensuring Financial Stability in Countries with Islamic Banking” and the accompanying country case studies paper.

Market comment ..

Good morning Europe ..  With profits expected  opening  for European markets. An inertia observed today with investors awaiting the publication of the FED practices, and continuous record of the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Profit + 0.58% at 20 743 m, yesterday evening on Wall Street. Mixed picture show this morning the Asian markets, the Nikkei to make marginal losses - 0.01% to 19,379,87 m. Gold recorded small losses - 0.18% to $ 1,324.98 and Brent oil profits to $ 56.66 .. while the EUR / USD rate dropped - 0.63% to 1.0541. The Traders within markets ..

The DAX futures of ... shortly before the opening of markets driven by profit + 0.40% to 12.008 m .. above the pivot point of 11 886 m .. and above the Kumo cloud ichimoku the fast oscillator Chikou Span (green line) give positive divergence angle, like the fast stochastic oscillator ..

NEWS Release -  German economy at the end of 2016: upswing continues



The German economy continued to pick up in the fourth quarter of 2016 after a brief setback last summer, according to the February issue of the Monthly Report. Data from the Federal Statistical Office indicate that real gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 0.4% on the quarter at the end of the year. GDP had risen by just 0.1% in summer.

Ταξιδιωτικό ισοζύγιο 

Σύμφωνα με τα προσωρινά στοιχεία, το ταξιδιωτικό ισοζύγιο το Δεκέμβριο του 2016 εμφάνισε πλεόνασμα 55 εκατ. ευρώ, έναντι πλεονάσματος 5 εκατ. ευρώ τον αντίστοιχο μήνα του 2015. Ειδικότερα, αύξηση κατά 4,7% κατέγραψαν το Δεκέμβριο του 2016 οι ταξιδιωτικές εισπράξεις, οι οποίες διαμορφώθηκαν στα 193 εκατ. ευρώ, έναντι 184 εκατ. ευρώ τον αντίστοιχο μήνα του 2015, ενώ μείωση κατά 22,9% παρατηρήθηκε στις ταξιδιωτικές πληρωμές (Δεκέμβριος 2016: 139 εκατ. ευρώ, Δεκέμβριος 2015: 180 εκατ. ευρώ).
