I am pleased to join you today to discuss the U.S. economy and the Federal Reserve's monetary policy. I strongly believe that my colleagues and I should explain, as clearly as we can, both the reasons for our decisions and the fundamental principles that underlie our strategy.

                                                                  ΑΝΑΚΟΙΝΩΣΗ 

Με αφορμή την αρθρογραφία που αναφέρεται στον υπολογισμό του συντελεστή ετήσιας μεταβολής μισθών του Ν. 4387/2016 και σε δήθεν καθυστέρηση από την πλευρά της ΕΛΣΤΑΤ, διευκρινίζονται τα εξής:

Ελληνική Οικονομία - Το μέσο σταθμισμένο επιτόκιο του συνόλου των νέων δανείων προς νοικοκυριά και επιχειρήσεις αυξήθηκε κατά 4 μονάδες βάσης σε σχέση με τον προηγούμενο μήνα και διαμορφώθηκε στο 4,86%. . - ΤτΕ

1. ΕΠΙΤΟΚΙΑ ΝΕΩΝ ΚΑΤΑΘΕΣΕΩΝ ΚΑΙ ΔΑΝΕΙΩΝ ΣΕ ΕΥΡΩ 

Αμετάβλητο παρέμεινε, τον Ιανουάριο του 2017, το μέσο σταθμισμένο επιτόκιο του συνόλου των νέων καταθέσεων, ενώ το μέσο σταθμισμένο επιτόκιο των νέων δανείων αυξήθηκε. Το περιθώριο επιτοκίου* αυξήθηκε στις 4,54 εκατοστιαίες μονάδες, έναντι 4,50 μονάδων τον προηγούμενο μήνα (βλ. Πίνακα 1).

NEWS Release - Euro area unemployment at 9.6% EU28 at 8.1%

The euro area (EA19) seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate was 9.6% in January 2017, stable compared to December 2016 and down from 10.4% in January 2016. This remains the lowest rate recorded in the euro area since May 2009.

Δελτίο Τύπου - ΔΙΑΘΕΣΗ ΕΝΤΟΚΩΝ ΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΙΩΝ 13 ΕΒΔΟΜΑΔΩΝ ΣΕ ΦΥΣΙΚΑ ΠΡΟΣΩΠΑ

Την Τετάρτη 8 Μαρτίου 2017, το Ελληνικό Δημόσιο θα προχωρήσει στην έκδοση εντόκων γραμματίων 13 εβδομάδων. Η έκδοση θα γίνει με δημοπρασία στην οποία συμμετέχουν οι Βασικοί Διαπραγματευτές των τίτλων του Ελληνικού Δημοσίου. Ως ημερομηνία διακανονισμού έχει οριστεί η Παρασκευή 10 Μαρτίου 2017 (Τ+2).

1 Introduction

Governor Jazbec ,Ambassador Riedel , Ladies and gentlemen  -I am delighted to have the opportunity to return to Slovenia – and to Ljubljana. I was here just over four years ago to attend the external meeting of the ECB Governing Council. So I already know the charm Ljubljana holds for its visitors. This time, I will also have time to visit the National Gallery, where I am especially interested in seeing the works of Slovenian artists. To me, art is far more than mere decoration: it grants insights – for example, into a country’s soul at a given point in time.
