Η Εθνική Τράπεζα της Ελλάδος Α.Ε. («ΕΤΕ» ή η «Τράπεζα») ανακοινώνει στο επενδυτικό κοινό ότι υπεγράφη μεταξύ της ΕΤΕ και της AFGRI Holdings (PTY) Ltd («AFGRI») σύμβαση πώλησης του 99,81% των μετοχών της ΕΤΕ που κατέχει άμεσα ή έμμεσα στη θυγατρική εταιρεία της, South African Bank of Athens («SABA»). Η συναλλαγή αποτελεί μέρος του Σχεδίου Αναδιάρθρωσης της ΕΤΕ και ολοκληρώνεται σύμφωνα με τις σχετικές Δεσμεύσεις προς τη Γενική Διεύθυνση Ανταγωνισμού της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής.

With less than 200 staff, most of its operations outsourced to other institutions, and its highest governing body indistinguishable from the informal Eurogroup, this study by Transparency International EU shows the EU’s bailout fund has not received the attention it deserves.
