In February 2017 the current account of the euro area recorded a surplus of €37.9 billion.[1] - In the financial account, combined direct and portfolio investment recorded net acquisitions of assets of €149 billion and net incurrences of liabilities of €76 billion.

Ελληνική Οικονομία - Το πλεόνασμα για το έτος 2016, εκτιμάται στα 1,3 δις , ενώ το χρέος της Γενικής Κυβέρνησης στα 314,9 δις ..- ΕΛΣΤΑΤ

Σύμφωνα με τις πρώτες εκτιμήσεις της ΕΛΣΤΑΤ, τα οποία παρήχθησαν βάση του νέου Κανονισμού  ESA 2010 , το πλεόνασμα για το έτος 2016, εκτιμάται στα 1,3 δις. ευρώ, ενώ το ακαθάριστο ενοποιημένο χρέος της Γενικής Κυβέρνησης  σε ονομαστικές τιμές στο τέλος του 2016 εκτιμάται στα 314,9 δις , με το ΑΕΠ σε αγοραίες τιμές να υπολογίζεται στα 175,888 δις. ευρώ, για το έτος 2016, ελαφρά αυξημένο από το έτος 2015, παραμένοντας όμως σε χαμηλότερα επίπεδα από το έτος 2013 και 2014.

Σημαντική αύξηση σε ετήσια βάση της τάξης του 20,09% σημειώθηκε στον Δείκτη Κύκλου Εργασιών στη Βιομηχανία, σύμφωνα με τα προσωρινά στοιχεία που ανακοινώθηκαν σήμερα από την ΕΛΣΤΑΤ. ένα σημαντικό μέρος της αύξησης που παρατηρήθηκε, οφείλεται στην αύξηση του κύκλου εργασιών στα Ορυχεία - Λατομεία με επίκεντρο την εξόρυξη άνθρακα και λιγνίτη. Σημαντική αύξηση επίσης παρατηρήθηκε στον τομέα της Μεταποιητικής Βιομηχανίας, ενώ για μία ακόμη φορά, ο τομέας της παραγωγής ενέργειας υπερ απόδωσε των υπολοίπων Βιομηχανικών κλάδων.

Το Φεβρουάριο του 2017, το ισοζύγιο τρεχουσών συναλλαγών παρουσίασε έλλειμμα 937 εκατ. ευρώ, κατά 109 εκατ. ευρώ μεγαλύτερο από εκείνο του Φεβρουαρίου του 2016. Η εξέλιξη αυτή οφείλεται στην αύξηση του ελλείμματος του ισοζυγίου αγαθών, η οποία υπεραντιστάθμισε την άνοδο του πλεονάσματος του ισοζυγίου υπηρεσιών, καθώς και στη μείωση του πλεονάσματος του ισοζυγίου πρωτογενών εισοδημάτων.

Investors continue to hold a standstill against the backdrop of the Sunday presidential election in France. European banks continue to move upward after their upgrading from UBS yesterday. The German DAX Index in Börse Frankfurt, after a sinking at the beginning of the meeting to support EMA 50 at 11,974 m, marks a marginal gain of + 22% at 12,014 m presenting signs of reaction.
