Projected growth in CO2 emissions driven by countries outside the OECD

Global energy-related carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions are projected to increase by one-third between 2012 and 2040 in EIA's International Energy Outlook 2016 (IEO2016) Reference case, largely driven by increased energy use in countries outside of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

A difficult setting for banks

Bundesbank President Jens Weidmann said he considered it justified that bank regulation had been made more stringent worldwide as a lesson learned from the financial crisis, commenting that it was a good thing that credit institutions now held more and better-quality capital.

Η όξυνση της φοροδιαφυγής λόγω της συνεχώς αυξανόμενης φορολογικής επιβάρυνσης, αναμένεται να πλήξει τις οργανωμένες επιχειρήσεις, που υφίστανται ήδη αθέμιτο ανταγωνισμό από όσους συστηματικά φοροδιαφεύγουν και/ή εκμεταλλεύονται τη «μαύρη» αγορά εργασίας. Γι’ αυτό το λόγο είναι αμφίβολο κατά πόσον τα οφέλη από την τόνωση της αξιοπιστίας της χώρας λόγω της ψήφισης, εμπροσθοβαρώς, όλων των δημοσιονομικών μέτρων προσαρμογής, μπορούν να αντισταθμίσουν τις υφεσιακές επιπτώσεις του γιγαντιαίου προγράμματος λιτότητας που ακολουθείται....
