Τα εγχώρια νοικοκυριά και οι μη χρηματοοικονομικές επιχειρήσεις εξακολουθούν να είναι υπερχρεωμένες, με το συνολικό χρέος να φτάνει το 358,1%1 του Ακαθάριστου Εγχώριου Προϊόντος (ΑΕΠ) στο τέλος Σεπτεμβρίου 2015.
