U.S. crude oil refinery inputs averaged over 16.4 million barrels per day during the week ending June 3, 2016, 211,000 barrels per day more than the previous week’s average. Refineries operated at 90.9% of their operable capacity last week.

Chinese exports of diesel began to increase rapidly in 2015, driven by a structural shift in China's economy—which is reducing diesel demand—and by reforms in China's refining sector, which are contributing to increased refinery utilization and diesel production.
